Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver has been temporarily pulled from Steam. This decision was made by the publisher, Square Enix. However, the reasons for such a move were not specified. The message posted on the game's card on Valve's store says only that it was dictated by "work on important updates". Interestingly, the title is still on sale on GOG.com.
At this point, it's hard to tell what updates the publisher might be referring to. The general tone of the announcement does not indicate what exactly Square Enix plans to do. At this point, it remains to wait until the game returns to sale, after the improvements are introduced by the developers. It is not known how long the waiting time will be.
