A new version of the Men of War: Assault Squad 2, has been released. As the title suggests, the mod takes the action of the game to the Star Wars universe.
The new build is marked with the number 0.76. This is the first update in several months - the previous one was released back in August 2020.
The update improves gameplay balance, especially when it comes to combat machines. Many units were also enriched with voices and sounds. The mod also gained two new maps - Dantooine farms (to play against AI) and Alderaan countryside (for multiplayer). There are also new weapons and vehicles.
Individual changes are small, but there's several hundred of them in total. There is nothing here that would radically change the mod, but all the new features and improvements add up to a much improved design that is much more enjoyable to play.
Star Wars: Galaxy at War is a total conversion mod, which replaces virtually all elements of Men of War: Assault Squad 2. We get new factions, maps, units, vehicles and weapons. The gameplay mechanics have also been changed.
