Steam Sales Schedules for the Rest of 2021
Steam is preparing four more sales for us in 2021. The start dates for these events were revealed by Steamworks documentation.
We usually get information about Steam sales first in the form of unofficial (though usually reliable) leaks. However, in the case of this year's recent events, we do not have to rely on such rumors. Valve has updated the documentation of the August SteamDB leak (and one additional one).
Steam sales:
- October 21 - 25: Digital Board Games Festival
- October 28 - November 1: Halloween sale
- November 24 - 30: Fall sale
- December 22 - January 5: Winter sale
For now, we don't know much about these actions. It's been confirmed that the latter two will feature nominations and voting for this year's Steam Awards. The Digital Board Games Festival, on the other hand, will focus on - as you can guess - games card and board elements, "with a special emphasis on RPGs". However, there is no information on additional events, which often accompany every major sale on Steam.
