Release Date: October 7, 2014
An atmospheric FPP survival horror game set in the iconic universe of Alien. It has been created by Creative Assembly, known from their strategy game series, Total War. The game takes place after the events of first movie, and the developers adapted not only the movie's visual style, but also the it's characteristic atmosphere. We play as Amanda, daughter of Ellen Ripley, the main protagonist of the movie.
Alien: Isolation is a first-person survival horror set in the universe of the Alien universe. It was created by the British Creative Assembly studio, known primarily for its excellent Total War strategic series. The publisher of the game is SEGA, a company that has been producing games related to the cult cycle of xenomorphs for many years.
We play the role of Amanda - the daughter of the main character of the film tetralogy, officer Ellen Ripley. The action takes place 15 years after the events known from the first part of the movie series. Our protagonist sets out to find the black box of the Nostromo freighter, on which the memorable first encounter with aliens took place. Her goal is to know the whole truth and to find out what really happened to her mother. In this dangerous mission, Amanda can count on the of the several-man crew of the Sevastopol trading station, and the relationship between people facing deadly danger is an important part of the story.
Unlike previous action-packed Alien games, Alien: Isolation returns to the roots of the survival horror genre, focusing on the incredible atmosphere and a constant sense of danger while traversing a seemingly abandoned ship. We are being followed by a deadly enemy, equipped with a special sensory system: sight, hearing and smell. Xenomorph, however, cannot be exterminated in any way, and the best ways to survive are to run away, distract the enemy, temporarily scare them away and skilfully use hiding places. Amanda has to hack the ship's systems and create the necessary items depending on the situation. She is also equipped with a motion detector that reliably warns of imminent danger.
The developers based the game mainly on the most famous first part of the film saga - Alien, directed by Ridley Scott. Alien: Isolation refers to it both in of story and graphic design. The xenomorph model is a reproduction of the concept of H.R. Giger, and the slightly old-fashioned decor of the ship and the devices on board live up to the vision of the distant future, shown in the cult movie. The authors of the game managed to preserve the atmosphere of the original film, in which instead of fighting with hordes of monsters, emotions are evoked by the very journey through the poorly lit mazes of corridors and the accompanying mysterious noises and traces of the alien's presence.

Alien: Isolation - The Trigger is the fifth and final DLC for the science fiction horror game Alien: Isolation developed by Creative Assembly. This DLC is available for the game's season owners, but can also be bought separately. The expansion takes place prior to the events of the main game. We play as Ricardo, who, along with his supervisor, tries to remove a xenomorph from Sewastopol's deck. The Trigger does not introduce any new game modes or features and focuses on the already known Survivor mode. We explore three previously inaccessible areas of Sewastopol, with the disabled robot storage being one of them. All the time we have to hide from the murderous alien creature and the less, but still, dangerous androids. The entire expansion is a nice challenge for those who like survival because the new maps are filled with narrow corridors where it's difficult to find a hideout. The Alien that hunts us moves fast and is extremely responsive to any kind of activity or action we take.

Action
The fourth expansion to a first-person survival horror - Alien: Isolation, developed by Creative Assembly. Like the previous expansion to the game (Safe Heaven), the Lost DLC is a variation of the game’s Survivor Mode. However, in this particular DLC, the player returns to the Sebastopol space station and assumes the role of Axel. Gameplay mechanics build on the exploration of a new map, which now includes private Lorenz quarters and the station’s backup power generator area. The mission introduced by Lost is divided into 10 challenges and features significantly higher difficulty level resulting from the fact that this time around the players have to fight off enemy waves of androids, humans and the Alien itself. In comparison the previous Alien: Isolation expansions, Lost significantly stands out - during the mission, players have a lot of ground to cover. Moreover, should one fall in battle, he has to start all over, since he failed to complete the task he was assigned with. What makes it all slightly easier is the ability to construct useful items - this includes some new weapons such as a revolver or a crossbow. For completing this new mission, a player is rewarded with various items and perks.

Action
The third expansion to the first-person perspective survival horror Alien: Isolation. The expansion is included in the season and offers an additional option to play the game in survival mode that is related to gathering resources. The protagonist of the DLC is Hughes, a character known from the basic campaign who is working on the Sewastopol station as a signalman. He finds a safe haven from the alien and the androids but his resources are dwindling. He must find the courage to leave the hideout and gather the items that will finally help him escape this cursed place. The challenge features ten levels, during which the player must avoid all dangers. The expansion includes a novelty that makes the task much harder – the map is much larger than previously and the player has only a single life. When the protagonist dies, the campaign must be started from the beginning. In each level the player can gain score that is related to gaining access to additional resources.
