Housing system and other novelties

The biggest new feature introduced in Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds is an extensive housing system, named Homesteads. It allows for creating our own homes that are personal instances encoming the entire , which can be freely decorated. They also have a range of special features.

The add-on also introduces the possibility of using spears on land, while in the past it was only available under water. With this weapon in mind, which can now be used by representatives of all professions, a number of dedicated skills have been prepared. Additionally, a new collection of relics has been developed for its needs, which increase its combat potential.

The expansion also brings an improved Warclaw, a mount with unique abilities, its own mastery line and a path leading to it. The list of new features is topped by new maps, led by Lowland Shore and Janthir Syntri available at the time of the premiere, a previously unavailable raid for 10 participants, as well as additional rewards such as a legendary spear and backpack.

Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds is a non-standalone DLC, so it requires the base version of Guild Wars 2 to run.
