Railway Empire 2: Industrial Wonders is the fifth DLC for the economic strategy game dedicated to rail transport, produced by Gaming Minds Studios and originally released in 2023.
The DLC offers struggles during the industrial revolution, starting from 1860 and reaching beyond the 1930s. The use of the steam engine paves the way for complex supply chains and monumental construction projects. Industrialization includes coal mines, steel mills, factories, and finally railway lines.
We can develop the company by creating production plants and building efficient transport connections in three new scenarios. In all of them we deal with a more complex production system, characterized by variable efficiency and a greater diversity of input and output goods.
In Railway Empire 2: Industrial Wonders we travel across three maps - we can visit the German Ruhr Valley, the French Ile-de-, and the Hoover Dam in the United States of America. We use historical steam locomotives for this purpose, including "Big Boy" and "Heavy Mikado".
Just like in the basic version of the game, Industrial Wonders DLC includes both a single-player mode and an online cooperation mode.
Railway Empire 2: Industrial Wonders is a non-standalone expansion, which means it requires the base version of the game. The DLC expands the soundtrack with 15 new music tracks and jingles.
