Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is a third-person action game with fighting game elements and another digital adaptation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise for PC, PS4 and etc.. The title was developed by Platinum Games, a Japanese studio that specializes in dynamic action games and created such productions as Bayonetta, in cooperation with Nickelodeon.
The original plot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan was created by Tom Waltz, an author of one of the official comic books by IDW. In his story, the famous turtles fight the criminal underground of New York, protecting the inhabitants of “the Great Apple” from aliens, mutants, and of the dangerous Foot Clan gang. Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael will have to face such famous bosses as Bebop, Rocksteady, or Shredder.
The gameplay mechanics of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan combine elements known to all fans of the series, such as dynamic combat with spectacular combos, the possibility of switching between characters, a large dose of humor, and tons of pizza, with the latest standards in gaming industry as an open world with a myriad of primary and secondary quests, an advanced combat system, or online features. Similarly to the original TV series, every one of the four protagonists naturally has his own fighting style that can be progressively enhanced in the course of the game with a set of special Ninjitsu strikes, additional combat equipment, and numerous bonuses.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan offers an extensive single player story campaign as well as the possibility to forces in an online cooperation mode for up to 4 players.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan for PC, PS4 and etc. is powered by a fully three-dimensional graphics engine that makes use of the cel-shading, which gives the game a typically cartoonish appearance reminiscent of the style known from the comic books as well as the TV series.
