Release Date: June 26, 2006
An isometric action-RPG from the hack’n’slash genre, developed by the team at Iron Lore led by Brian Sullivan – co-creator of the iconic classic, Age of Empires. Titan Quest takes us to ancient Greece and Egypt, when the eponymous titans get released from their eternal imprisonment to spread death and destruction across the Earth.
Titan Quest is an RPG that combines action with good story. The game was developed by Iron Lore Entertainment, a studio led by Brian Sullivan, co-creator of the Age of Empires series. The action takes place in Ancient Greece and Egypt, where the eponymous Titans ran away from their eternal prison to unleash hell on Earth. While a war between the old and new gods rages on, it is the mankind that will have to decide the fate of the world. The player’s task is to traverse the ancient Earth and find a way to send Titans back to their prison.
In Titan Quest, the players get to visit such famous places as the Parthenon, the Knossos Labyrinth, the Pyramids or the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. The developers also provided a huge arsenal that consists of over a thousand unique and legendary items. The flexible class system allows the protagonist to perfect his skills in pretty much countless ways. The game offers very detailed, nearly photorealistic graphics.
Apart from single player campaign, Titan Quest also comes with multiplayer.

Game Ratings for Titan Quest Video Game.
Nintendo Life: 7 / 10 by Gavin Lane
A certain historical perspective and a touch of nostalgia will go a long way to helping you appreciate Titan Quest and its quirks. That core loop of killing satyrs in four hits before finding rare loot that destroys them in one is as compelling as it ever was. Disappointing visual glitches and the occasional crash give the impression that everything is held together with nothing more than sticky tape and a prayer, but it was never enough to stop us playing. Handheld mode is a massive boon for any RPG and, as long as you're not expecting miracles, this Switch port delivers the core experience well enough to warrant investigation.
Gaming Nexus: 8.5 / 10 by Kevin O'Connell
Titan Quest is a hack-n-slash game that captivated a great many players for over a decade. There have been thousands of mods, skill-sets, skins, and even a few full games made in its wake because of how good it was. Now on console, the game lives again. Maybe a bit too close to the flawed original, and maybe not as hack-friendly as the original, but it gives a chance for a new set of players to battle a titan… and that should be good enough for anyone.
ZTGD: 7.5 / 10 by Drew Leachman
At the end of the day, it's Titan Quest. For those that have never played it, they may either love it or hate it depending on how well they adapt to the grid-based movement. Fans of the original 2006 release who are looking to try the game out again will have a fun time here. While it's not the best port of a PC action RPG, it has the makings of a fun time with up to five buddies online.
