PoE 2 fights to reverse a negative trend. Latest patch is a step toward shedding „mixed” ratings on Steam
Path of Exile 2 received update 0.2.0h, introducing important changes and, among other things, private leagues.

Grinding Gear Games released the 0.2.0h update for Path of Exile 2. It introduces a lot of changes, which may at least somewhat reverse the negative trend on Steam.
Update
We discussed the new content extensively in the previous news, and you can find the full list of changes on the official PoE 2 website. That's why I will only list the most important ones below:
- extended duration of Breach mechanics and dropping all shards under the character's feet after its completion;
- improvement of Azmerian Wisp's movement when tracking two at once;
- better visibility of Rogue Exiles;
- greater chance to get some rare items;
- special window for quick use of currency on Strongboxes and Essences.
Furthermore, the devs introduced two new Stash Tabs, which are available for purchase in the store. Below you can watch videos showcasing how they work. I advise to hold off on purchasing, as in PoE 2 there are regular sales of tabs.
Also, they added the option to create private leagues on both PC and consoles. You can do this on the game's website, of course, after paying the appropriate fee, which depends on the duration and number of players. There is also a crowdfunding option. In private leagues, trading and ladders work the same as in standard leagues.
Fight for better reception
Unfortunately, Path of Exile 2 has been struggling with Steam reviews since the release of the Dawn of the Hunt update. Over the last 30 days, players have posted over 7,000 reviews, of which only 40% are positive.
It's clear that despite the devs' struggle, the game still has many issues that greatly bother the fans. So today's patch is another step towards their fix. I'm afraid that might not be enough, though, the game needs much bigger changes. We may have to wait for version 0.3 for such, which, hopefully, will significantly change the players' rception.
Path of Exile 2 is available in early access on PC, PS5, and XSX/S.
